Ratings and Certificates
By following the Quality-of-Regulation Review Mechanism, we review select material for compliance with the Advocate-General's Basic Principles for Governance; using a 31-point test comprising: transparency, non-discrimination, consistency, proportionality, efficiency and effectiveness, and miscellaneous items.
Starting with an opening balance of 100 points, we deduct between 0-5 points per item, then assign a Quality-of-Regulation (Q-O-R) Rating between 0-100. Examinees with imperfect Q-O-R Ratings are encouraged to work with us towards improving their measures, followed by a new Quality-of-Regulation Evaluation. Examinees whose measures are fully or substantially in compliance with our published standards for excellence receive accreditation and may apply for a LegalTrust Certified™ diploma. Subject to our Conditions for Quality Certification, we may monitor our LegalTrust Certified™ licensees to ensure consistent quality.
