Monitors legal developments worldwide and refers suitable subjects to the Advocate-General for further examination and possible action by the appropriate section or sections within Virtual Law Center.

Identifies and examines ethical issues of significant importance with special attention to whether appropriate legal safeguards are in place to protect fundamental concerns for justice defined as due process and fairness.

  • Advocate-General's Office >>>

Writes legal opinions and issues recommendations to the Court of Ethics. Issues referral notices in matters found to be warranting further consideration by Legal Observatory, Quality-of-Regulation Institute, or Legal Advocacy Center.

  • Quality-of-Regulation Institute >>>

Conducts research and evaluations. Issues reports, compliance certificates, and the like in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Advocate-General's Conditions for Quality Certification.

  • Legal Advocacy Center >>>

Conducts research and publishes advisories on issue advocacy, including identification of issues deserving more attention and areas where issue advocacy could be more forcefully and effectively applied.

  • International Legal Association >>>

Aims to facilitate collaboration and promote high professional standards among attorneys and jurists. Will maintain several Main Networks, Support Networks, and Client Networks. Will offer free referral services, secretarial and administrative support, legal publications, and information products to its future members.
